The utilities web app

A single-page utility website with a floating chat button. This is where a customer asks Finn about their bill. Open the utilities app (opens in a new tab).

The Finn workspace

The place to inspect the customer conversation, review the account context, and follow the work that needs attention.

Start here

Review the POC in three steps.

Keep the customer experience and the team workspace open in separate tabs so you can move between them.

  1. Open your workspace.

Open Finn (opens in a new tab), enter the workspace email above, and use the one-time code sent to that inbox. Select Dubai Marina emPower if asked to choose a workspace.

Have a test customer email ready. Use the customer email supplied for your review when trying the chatbot.

  2. Ask about a bill.

Open the utilities app (opens in a new tab). Click the floating chat button, identify yourself with your test customer email, and complete any verification requested.

Ask one of the questions below. Then ask a follow-up in the same conversation, such as “Can you break that down for me?”

  3. Follow the work in Finn.

Return to the Finn workspace and find the same customer’s conversation. Compare the answer with the customer’s billing records and inspect the activity available for that conversation.

If you requested an investigation or follow-up, check what was recorded and whether it is completed, pending, or needs a team member.

Try it yourself

Start with a real customer question.

Choose a question that fits your test account. Copy it into the utilities chatbot, then explore the answer in your own words.

“What is my latest bill, and how much do I still owe?”

“Why is this bill higher than last month?”

“I think a charge appears twice. Can you investigate?”

“I already paid part of this bill. What is left to pay?”

A useful answer should reflect the account’s records. If there is no duplicate charge or no previous payment, Finn should explain what the records show.

How it ties together

One conversation. Connected work.

The utilities page is the customer’s entry point. Its FloatingLauncher chatbot connects the conversation to Finn’s agentic runtime. The runtime uses connected tools and records to help answer the question and carry out permitted work; the Finn workspace gives the service team a place to follow it.

Customer records

Sample customers, bills, and payments provide the account context. Compare Finn’s answers with these records.

Runtime and sandboxes

Finn runs the agent workflow. Tools connect it to business systems; sandboxes provide isolated execution when a task requires it.

Team oversight

Inspect the conversation and resulting work in Finn. Check what happened, what is still open, and where a person needs to step in.

What to look for

Check the answer. Check the outcome.

The POC is designed to make three things easy to evaluate.

Grounded answers

Does the answer match the customer’s bill and payment history? Does Finn explain the figures and acknowledge missing information?

Useful follow-through

Can you follow up naturally? If Finn says it took an action, can you find the resulting record or status in the workspace?

Visible ownership

Can the service team understand the conversation, see what remains unresolved, and identify any work requiring human attention?
